The Standard Verticals

THE VERTICAL Trunk design was popular many years ago when travel was by Pullman and liner.
It is widely used today at horse events all over the world.
The vertical shape, with its strong handle on the back and all-terrain tires makes an ideal system for a portable tack room, wardrobe or medicine box.
Both vertcals are 45" tall excluding the wheels and legs, or casters.
They are 25 1/2" from front to back.
The Standard Vertical is 25" across the front, the Large Vertical is 29" across the front.
The Large Vertical Trunk

The advantage of the Large Vertical Tack Trunk is there is more space, than in the Standard Vertical Trunk, 4" from side to side, which makes it easier to reach the bridles, especially if the saddles have large padded skirts.
However, the larger one is a little more difficult to maneuver.
All of our upright trunks, Large Vertical Tack Trunk, Wardrobe Trunk and Medicine Chest have the large heavy handle on the back for easy tilting.
They also have a strong ring on the back bolted through to the inside touse as a tie down or to lock up using a cable and lock.

The Standard and Large Verticals come with the following:
• 2 removable and adjustable saddle racks, 6 bridle racks and 6 hooks.
• Brush box and 3 more hooks on inside of door. The Large Vertical has 2 doors and 4 hooks.
• The removable partition in the top section divides it into 3 compartments.
• Another saddle rack folds out as shown .
• Mirror and cork board in lid. Lid supports are mounted in the lid, cedar lining on the floor.
• Handles mounted on the back for tilting the trunk to wheel it are removable.
• Choice of 4 casters or extra large rough terrain tires, which are better for rolling in sand, mud and up van ramps.
Vertical Medicine Chests

The medicine chest has 4 easily rolled, solidly made drawers and a 4" deep compartment under the lid.
The chest organizes, keeps clean, and secures medications, sterile wound coverings, and all the special and expensive items you have to treat your horses.
The chest has the same type of heavy duty rough terrain tires and handles on the back as does the large vertical trunk.
The medicine chest is 20" wide, 20"across, and 35" tall without the legs and wheels.
Vertical Wardrobe Trunks

We designed this box to address the persistent “where’s my?” problem. Where’s my tie? What happened to my coat? Did I remember my raincoat?
Pictured on this page is the Large Vertical. We also make Standard Vertical that is 4" narrower.
The lid can open with a large mirror on the inside and a space underneath for a laptop, papers, cell phone, keys, etc. Close the lid and lock it up.
The Airplane Box
We make smaller Airplane Boxes and larger ones, but this size seems to work out the best for most people, 60" long, 29" wide and 60" tall including the 10" wheels.
It is not so big that it cannot be maneuvered in and out of most tackrooms and vans by two people.
And yet it will hold most everything you need for 2 or 3 horses in the FEI tent.
It is convenient to work out of on a daily basis at home or at the shows. Bridle Racks, Saddle Racks and the drawers are all on slides. There are many places, hooks, and hangers to put things.
Also, it has heavy rings for padlocks and to secure to walls in the aisle, van or airplane.
The Airplane Box
The interior of the Airplane Box can be arranged and made out of any material you like.
The saddles and bridles can be arranged however you would like. The airplane box can include a wardrobe for jackets, shirts, etc., a shelf for helmets, a space for boots. There can be drawers for medicines, bandages, boots, brushes, towels, fly spray, places for saddle pads, mirror, cork and wipe off boards, health papers, your shoes, or any other ideas you may have. There is space for 4 or 5 saddles, many bridles, TV video set up…
The interior can be made in a variety of woods or made with all aluminum saddle and bridle racks and drawers. The interior walls can be lined in wood, aluminum or any color of sunbrella material. The exterior can be all aluminum, vinyl or wood.
